Hey Guys! If you guys could do me a favor please, my brother in law Michael was just diagnosed with a small cancerous tumor on his left tonsil. He's going in on Monday 9/10/12 to have it removed. It hasn't gone into his lymphnodes according to his CT scan, but they are going to check microscopicly for any cancer cells in that area. And naturally, what they find will indicate as to wether or not he will need Chemo added to the radiation. Please keep in in your prayers for healing. He's only 54 years old, and in very fit condition. We're afraid that the radiation is bad enough, but if he needs Chemo, it will literally kill his spirit. Thanks, Rukia

My condolences on this. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to everyone not well. I know; my father was very sick for years and we lost him at 62 I miss the big lug SO MUCH. Some days I cry for him but I KNOW he wouldn't want me to. He would tell me to be strong and to go on with life. I'm trying Pop. I'm trying....

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers! i lost my Dad to lung cancer on Oct 16, 2001 and I still miss him deeply. Although, I know when he's around because I get signals or hear his voice. Could be because I'm psychic/intuitive, or just because I'm Daddy's little girl. But I know that our loved ones are always around, in love and light, and will always be there for you. Rukia

Thanks Pete. He's going to get a second opinion on the radiation treatments he's wondering if he needs them at all. The type of cancer he had was very slow growing and it took 30 or 40 years for it to grow, so the chances of it coming back that rapidly is slim to none and if it did, it's so slow growing that he'd be like 80 or 90 years old or something. He's usually really very good about listening to doctors orders but my sister and I are wondering about that. We'll see what happens. Rukia

You certainly have my prayers. You're a good friend of mine, and frankly, if anyone we knew on this forum happened to be in the same situation, I'm sure you'd offer prayers too.

okay here's the latest; my gals mom has advanced Stage three Cancer in her lungs and in her intestines she is undergoing Chemo every week for the next two months my girlfriend is to undergo exploratory surgery as an outpatient on Thursday (Oct 11) so the doctor can see what is the black mass on her liver plus he sees 'lesions'(?) also on it my own mom confides in me only that her legs are 'leaking' water but not to worry and NOT to tell anyone else in the family about her condition Ah it's been a hell of a week so far...
