Just got home from work and was told about this in chat: pincabs.com/index.php/forum/suggestion-box/14-let-s-air-a-little-trashI will not take sides as I'm not involved in it. I know Dazz has wanted to do this for a while, and Noah got upset about it. Specifics- I don't know. I am a member, and it's basicly to say "Good Luck". I don't really hang out there. Truthfully, I don't think anything will ever replace VPF, I think it's gotten too big for that. Almost "too big to fail" in a way. I wish both luck. I will say that I did not start this site out of spite and I'm not saying if Dazz did or didn't by that. I decided to add to my site, and am still adding. My timing wasn't great with VPF upgrading, and this other stuff going on, but it can't be helped. To those of you who know me- frankly, I 'm surprised the lights come on in this place!  |

Really, now! So much drama! I get enough of that on the job! A GREAT forum will be dedicated that great game of Pinball that we all know and love, and in whichever form we love it, from VP to FP, from desktop to FS B2S!!! I always thought all these 'private' sites were just so we could read more on pinballing!
Funny when I see how this guy is undermining this other guys site
or this guy is badmouthing the other all because of a little silver ball
(and some really overblown egos!)
what ALL sysops must remember is it is US who make your site(s) what they are)
without us they would be lonely areas so if you piss us off
we may NOT want to visit the site in question

I'd agree with that Faralos. I do believe Dazz did NOT do this to hurt Noah. It think Noah is being protective of his place but, in his defense, his business is based on that site, and it's a well established, sucessfull site. On one hand why let competition into a "monopoly", on the other they could've really worked well together. Just my take.

Drama? I was told I had to post here, because a certain forum site owner beat me to a birthday wish! Now that's drama, hell that's extortion! EDIT: On a bright note I now have $90 Itchy Bucks, that more money then I've had in a long time! I'd tell you all about it, but that's just more drama. |

so how does Noah react to this site? does he also see this one as 'competition'?
Seems odd to think all new pin sites are made just to undermine the ones already out there
or to threaten/block/ban/badmouth someone just for having their own pin site

Hey, I post at Tcop Rascal. I know Tcop is more a hangout and I'm trying to do more of a serious site.
Faralos, I don't think Noah views me as a threat. The truth is I could be if I wanted to, but I have no interest in doing that. I have a lot of respect for what he does- it's a lot of work. I see that just starting this place, let alone something with all the bells and whistles that his place has.

Please, don't anyone start any crap! It's going to be uncomfortable enough at the Chicago Expo this year with Noah because of all the other stuff that went on before. I have a feeling that he's not going to be particularly friendly, considering recent events. I just would like to see this year's Chicago Expo go smoothly and without any fights. Rukia |

I still don't understand why there are bad feelings over the sites
like who cares if all or any of us open our own pin sites
it's not like you are trying to undermine anyone elses' site
or trying to 'steal' members or money from them
so I cannot see why there would or could be animosities toward each other
since you are running what can be called a hobby site
and vpf is obviously becoming a commercial one
why can't we all just get along?
